The third block from Quilting gallery's Sew-A-Long

I started following the Quilting Gallery Beginners Sew along.  I am using a fat quarater bundle collection, Ten Things.  I don't consider myself a beginner but once in a while I like to do something simple.  Here is a picture of the first two blocks

An early birthday gift: I am a member of B&B Yahoo Group, last year I joined the fat quarter birthday swap. Yesterday I received in the mail a package of fat quarters. I will put them to good use as I am doing the monthly challenge on Small Quilts Yahoo Group hosted by Kathy Tracy.

Sewing again.  I am adding the borders to The Mystery for Relay, and now I think it looks good.  I have been working on the civil war blocks, Christmas Stitch-A-Long and and Bloggers Block of the Month.

Finally getting back to sewing

Its September already and I haven't sewed A stitch since July.  School has started, vacation is over so now I have lots of time.  I hope to finish 3 UFO's this month.  I am doing a mystery quilt by Planet Patchwork on Saturday.
